I grew up just outside the small town of Brimfield in central Illinois, where I spent my childhood with my parents and older brother. After graduating from Brimfield High School in 2017, I attended the University of Iowa, where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in May 2021, double majoring in Finance and Business Analytics & Information Systems. I continued my education at Iowa, completing two Master's Degrees in Finance and Business Analytics in May 2023.

During my undergraduate years, I formed lasting friendships and participated in several notable organizations. Some of my favorite memories include storming Kinnick Stadium after Iowa's victories against Ohio State and Penn State, playing basketball with friends, and golfing at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City.

In January 2022, I joined the University of Iowa's Henry Fund as a Technology Analyst. The Henry Fund is a $23.7M equity portfolio managed by students in the Master of Finance program. In this role, I wrote research reports and developed valuation models for companies such as Alphabet, Cisco, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Shopify. Additionally, during the spring 2022 semester, I served as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate Financial Information Technology (FIT) course.

In the summer of 2022, I interned with the Commercial Banking team at Wells Fargo in Des Moines, IA. During my final academic year, I served as a graduate teaching assistant for Macroeconomics, instructing more than 200 undergraduate students. In the spring 2023 semester, I also worked as a Fixed Income Analyst for the Hart Fund, a $1.5M student-managed fixed-income fund.

Currently, I am a Research Associate at M Science, where I conduct data-driven equity research on companies in the financials and payments sectors. My work involves leveraging proprietary data sets to estimate key performance indicators, develop interactive dashboards, and deliver curated data feeds.
